Story Transcript:

Ro: Într-o dimineață senină de primăvară, Andrei și Elena s-au decis să viziteze târgul tradițional românesc care se întindea cu miresme și culori pe piața centrală a orașului lor.
En: On a clear spring morning, Andrei and Elena decided to visit the traditional Romanian market, which stretched with fragrances and colors in the central square of their town.

Ro: Andrei era un bărbat isteț, de obicei atent la detalii, iar Elena era dulce și plină de viață, cu un zâmbet care înnora inimile.
En: Andrei was a clever man, usually attentive to details, and Elena was sweet and full of life, with a smile that warmed hearts.

Ro: Târgul era plin de tarabe încărcate cu fructe, legume, miere și brânzeturi, iar oamenii forfoteau în jurul lor în căutarea celor mai proaspete produse.

Ro: La un moment dat, Andrei se oferă să țină geanta Elenei în timp ce aceasta își alegea cu atenție niște roșii chilianțel pentru cina ce urma să o gătească în seara aceea.

Ro: Se îndreptă grăbit către taraba unde voia să cumpere brânză pentru Elena, gândindu-se cât de delicioasă va fi în salata de roșii.
En: He hurried towards the stall where he wanted to buy cheese for Elena, thinking about how delicious it would be in the tomato salad.

Ro: Ajuns la vânzător, Andrei se apleacă să scoată portofelul din presupusa geantă și, cu o privire plină de mândrie, îi întinde vânzătorului... varza!
En: Arriving at the vendor, Andrei stooped to take out his wallet from the presumed bag, and with a proud look, he handed... the cabbage to the vendor!

Ro: Confuzia care s-a citit pe fața vânzătorului nu a fost nimic pe lângă rușinea care a cuprinsu-l pe Andrei în momentul în care și-a dat seama de greșeală.
En: The confusion on the vendor's face was nothing compared to the embarrassment that engulfed Andrei when he realized his mistake.

Ro: Elena, care observase întreaga scenă de la câțiva pași distanță, a izbucnit în râs, iar oamenii din jur au început să privească amuzați.

Ro: În cele din urmă, după câteva glume și râsete bune, Andrei s-a scuzat, iar vânzătorul, binevoitor, i-a oferit chiar un discount pentru brânză datorită spectacolului neintenționat.
En: In the end, after a few jokes and good laughs, Andrei apologized, and the kind vendor even offered him a discount on the cheese because of the unintentional spectacle.

Ro: Cu toții au râs încă o dată, iar Andrei și-a recăpătat geanta Elenei, de data aceasta având grijă să nu mai confunde niciodată un accesoriu de modă cu o legumă.
En: Everyone laughed once again, and Andrei regained Elena's bag, this time making sure never to confuse a fashion accessory with a vegetable again.

Ro: Iar târgul și-a continuat zbuciumul său vesel, cu doi tineri puțin mai învățați despre asemănările surprinzătoare dintre obiectele de zi cu zi și legumele de la piață.
