Good morning, Florida boaters! It's time for your coastal waters forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Miami. I'm here to keep you all informed and entertained as we dive into the weather for the next few days. Let's see what's coming your way!

For those of you sailing along the Atlantic coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef, and the Gulf coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee, here's the scoop:

We've got a moderate east to northeasterly wind flow sticking around this week, so be prepared for some choppy conditions out there. Keep an eye out for hazardous marine conditions that may return towards the end of the week. Tonight, expect seas up to around 4-6 feet which will gradually diminish, making your evening on the water a bit calmer.

Now, for those closer to Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, and from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef, here's what you can expect:

Today, you'll have east to northeast winds at 5 to 10 knots with seas ranging from 3 to 5 feet, occasionally reaching 6 feet. Intracoastal waters will have a light chop, making for a pleasant day out on the water. As we head into the weekend, don't be surprised by stronger winds and higher seas, so plan your activities accordingly.

And for the boaters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach and East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee, here's your forecast:

Today, nearshore winds will be east at 5 to 10 knots, turning west to southwest in the afternoon. Offshore winds will be east at 10 to 15 knots. Seas will be calm near shore and around 1-2 feet further out. Bay and inland waters will have a light chop, perfect for a relaxing day on the water.

If you're navigating Lake Okeechobee or hanging out in Biscayne Bay, don't worry, we've got you covered too:

You can expect relatively calm winds and waters today and into tomorrow. But keep an eye out for stronger winds and choppier conditions as we head into the weekend. It's always better to be prepared!

Remember, safety first, folks! Always check the latest updates before heading out. For more information and detailed forecasts, check out the link in the show notes. Thank you for listening and make sure to subscribe to never miss an update. Happy boating, Florida!
