Hey there Florida folks, it's time for your coast-to-coast water weather report brought to you by the National Weather Service in Miami.

Let's dive into what's happening out there on the waters today. Along the Atlantic coast, from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef, and on the Gulf side from East Cape Sable to Bonita Beach, we've got some gentle to moderate easterly flow on the Atlantic waters and southwesterly flow over the Gulf waters. Keep an eye out for a few isolated showers and maybe even a rumble of thunder, especially over the Gulf waters.

Now, let's talk specifics for today - expect Southeast winds around 10 to 15 knots with seas around 2 feet or less. A slight chance of showers might pop up, so don't forget that umbrella!

Tonight, those Southeast winds will continue, keeping the seas nice and calm around 2 feet or less. And hey, how about Wednesday? Southeast winds around 10 to 15 knots with seas bumping up slightly to 2 to 3 feet.

As the week moves along, Thursday is going to bring stronger winds along the coast, so brace yourselves for 20 to 25 knots. And if you're out in the Gulf Stream, watch out for gusts up to 25 knots in the afternoon. Seas are expected to be around 2 to 3 feet.

By Friday, we're looking at some Southwest winds picking up with a chance of showers and maybe even a thunderstorm. On Friday night, the winds calm a bit, becoming West Southwest.

And for our weekend warriors, Saturday brings West Southwest winds around 10 to 15 knots with a chance of showers and thunder in the mix.
