No One Likes Us Talkin Podcast visited the Millwall Community Trust's free Holiday, Activity and Food (HAF) Programme to find out more about the camps at St Paul’s Sports Ground, Rotherhithe to find out more about the MCT’s work delivered in the local community during the summer school holidays.
Throughout the day at St. Paul’s Sports Ground, Jeff Burnige and Myles Thornton from The NOLU Talkin team spoke to MCT Trustee Sir Simon Hughes about how the holiday camps impact the local community in a positive way.
Following on from that, Tim Sells - Millwall Community Trust’s Football and Sports Development Manager - was asked about the different venues the camps were held at and how much the community benefits from the MCT’s work.
Patricio Fenick-Sanchez, Football and Sports Development Officer for Millwall Community Trust spoke about healthy eating, free hot meals, and the well-delivered sessions at the camp.
Children, carers, and other users of the St. Paul's facility also give their views.
