Do we have perennial libertarian problems, like losing our freedoms year after year? The long view of liberty shows that overall Americans are more free.... Americans broadly speaking are individualists until they focus on particular government programs that they like, then they like entitlements and government programs. They quickly swallow propaganda. It is far too early to imagine that the political process might be useful in anything other than as an educational effort. The hard core libertarian candidate will be unelectable. The educational job ahead of libertarians is huge. But, the remnant exists and they will find us.
