It: Il sole stava appena sbucando da dietro un palazzo vicino, quando Giovanni e Luca, due amici di lunga data, si ritrovarono in Piazza San Marco a Venezia.
En: The sun was just peeping out from behind a nearby building when Giovanni and Luca, two long-time friends, found themselves in Piazza San Marco in Venice.

It: A prima vista, Venezia è un dedalo di stradine, ponti e canali in cui è facile trovarsi persi, ma loro avevano un piano: attraversare la città senza perdersi e senza finire in un ingorgo di gondole.
En: At first glance, Venice is a labyrinth of narrow streets, bridges, and canals where it is easy to get lost, but they had a plan: to cross the city without getting lost and without getting stuck in a gondola traffic jam.
