On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are diving very deeply into the Bible tonight, to see if we can find the answer to exactly how the Godhead, (that's what Paul calls it, not a "trinity"), is set up, and how the Godhead functions. Has God put the truth of how He exists into the Bible? He sure has, but there's a catch. God has placed the truth about Himself, the Godhead, in well over a hundred different places from Genesis to Revelation. As you travel that path, more is revealed, but stopping before you finish the journey will likely lead you to an incomplete understanding. 2 Timothy 2:15 tells us to 'study like a workman', and on this episode of Rightly Dividing, we will do exactly that. The concept of the Trinity is Roman Catholic doctrine, with that word appearing nowhere in your King James Bible, leading you to believe that are in essence three Gods when they say "God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost". 3 Gods. This is not how the Bible talks about it, neither does it say that there are "3 Persons", you won't find that anywhere you look. Modalism is the theological doctrine that says the members of the Trinity are not three distinct persons but rather three modes or forms of activity (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) under which God manifests himself, and that's not exactly right, either.
