Description
My guest this week is Lauren Davis who is a Wife, mother, entrepreneur, and definitely not a politician! After clear abuse and division towards her children from unconstitutional mandates and...
show moreFirst thing I learned is you don’t have to be a lawyer or have a law degree to run for county Judge. It’s actually more of a business management position and it plays a huge role in local governance. When Lauren realized she had the opportunity to make a difference she decided to run against a career politician in Clay Jenkins that destroyed the local Dallas community with shuttering small business and creating division in children.
Clay Jenkins has even lost some of the graces of his Democrat following and based on polling numbers Lauren will have a solid chance against Clay in the upcoming midterm election.
Lauren and I also have an interesting story on how we realized we are on a similar path in terms of politics when I met her and her husband at a Pro Bull Riding event in Dallas. I connected with her husband Ben through the YEC (Young Entrepreneurship Council) and our conversation continued from there. We talked about the complete insanity that we deal with on a daily basis when virtue signaling superceeds other people’s very real trauma, including her own. She told me a story when we met, and we discuss it in this episode involving her own friends telling her that her experience with rape isn’t as bad as their having to live with a different skin color. This spawned a fascinating conversation of leveling trauma and realizing we just need to be better and more empathetic to each other’s stories. Period. Hard Stop.
Lauren’s history is what makes her a perfect modern day candidate to take over the position of Dallas Country Judge, as it’s not just about parenting. Lauren is the Co founder of The Gents Place, co-founder of operation gentleman(her own non-profit) and previously a director of another homeless outreach for program. As of late she is known for my fight against mandates in Dallas ISD.
I promise you, this episode is going to get you motivated and inspired to take charge of your life and your community. We talk about the role of Christianity in how we begin to take back the concept of decency in country
