Today’ message is about Friendship with The LORD Himself. When you know Him as your Personal Friend, then you Realize His Love for you Demonstrated on the Cross to be your Friend, even when you did not know Him, (Romans 5:8) that His Care and Help for you in All Things is Infinetly Transceding, above all you can ask, think, hope or imagine. God’s Love is Demonstrate in True Friendship, for He is Love! And Jesus Christ is your Friend.

God offers you a practical and down-to-earth Friendship with Him, saturated with His Glory. A friendship being so intimately in touch with God that you never even need to ask Him to show you His will.
John 15:13-15

Friendship is God's gift to you. And He reveals 7 Qualities that make a True Friend, and a Good Friendship as Seen in Jesus your Best Friend.

1. A True Friend Loves At All Times, And a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 17:17 A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.

A true friend is steadfast, thus A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."

Good friends don't look for opportunities to excuse themselves from expressing their love to you, but rather look for opportunities to further express their love to you.

This verse teaches you that love is a trait of a good friend, and a good friend will love you at all times and in any situation—good or bad. Their love is unconditional and is irrespective of the levels of adversity their friend faces. Love is the glue that holds strong friendships together, even in hard and uncertain times. and God is the Love that does not let go of it’s hold on you.

Indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate you from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord Who lives in you.
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:39‬ , Galatians 2:20‬

Christ through your faith actually dwells, has settle down, abides, make His permanent home in your heart! So you may be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love. Ephesians ‭3:17‬

And He Living in you fills you with His Love for others, so you can Love as He Loves, because Christ Lives in you. Galatians 2:20

2. A true friend sticks with you.
A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need. Jesus is your Friend that sticks closer than brother. Proverbs 18:24

3. A Good Friend Sharpens the countenance of His friend. Proverbs 27:17 So, you can sharpens the countenance of your friend. Jesus loves through you others. Jesus loved the unlovable, that you may love them.

God wants people with a positive influence into your personal space. God expects you to lean on him guard your personal space and filter any toxicity that may potentially discourage you.

4. A True Friend Does nothing from Selfish motives, through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility (lowliness of mind),
A True Friend doesn’t try to impress others. But is humble, thinking of other. They look out not only for their own interests, but look out for the interest of their friend, too. ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‬

Good friends respect you.

You must never lower your standards to accommodate unrespectful friends. Respect is one of the building blocks of a good friendship, so if your friendships don't have respect then it might be time to find a solution or simply qq kiss that friendship goodbye.

5. A True Friend does things out of love and pure devotion, not as compulsory command from a servant to master.

Jesus said that there is no greater love than to give your life for someone, even a friend, but there is more to this agape love that Jesus just spoke about in John 15:13.

6. A True Friend Good friends make sacrifices for you.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”
‭‭John‬ ‭10:11‬ ‭Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. ‭‭John‬ ‭15:13‬ ‬‬‬

Jesus is the greatest example of a friend, a good friend, and his statement "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" is a true reflection of what He considers as a good friendship.

Sacrifice is a fundamental quality of a good friendship. In (1 Samuel. 18:4)

7. A True Friend Forgives. Jesus came to Forgive, so you to by the Spirit of God in you Forgive others as you yourself have been forgiven by God.

Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:12-13‬ ‬

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

8. A True Friend will pray for you and with you.
“Who is there to condemn you? No one—for Christ Jesus died for you and was raised to life for you, He is sitting at the right hand of God in the place of honor, Who is actually pleading for you as He intercedes for you. Romans ‭8:34‬
