This includes anti-vaxxers, racists, misogynists and other individuals, and of course, the Qanon phenomenon which has been so influential on politics and society, and not for the better.
She talks about the problems with verification of information and the line where censorship comes in, and the difference between objective free speech and spouting nonsense.
Laura Dilley, Ph.D, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She received her B.S. in Brain and Cognitive Sciences in 1997 from MIT and her Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Biosciences and Technology from MIT and Harvard in 2005.
