It all began when Lexy was faced with a decision. Not happy with his corporate job and always wanting to be a writer, he dreamed of one day being able to follow his dream. When his infant son had a medical condition requiring extra care, he left his job to become a caregiver and began writing children’s stories.

So much so that his debut kids rap album based on his books reached #1 on the iTunes children's music chart in Canada!
