Brisbane noise machine Adriatic are not your run of the mill metal outfit.
Mixing traditional Bulgarian music with raw hardcore djent energy, Adriatic are one of those bands that has to be seen llive to be fully appreciated. Not that they sound any less sensational on disk, but their sonic plain magnifies ten fold the moment they step on stage and feel the love and energy from the crowd.
After taking a few months to re-focus on the task at hand, Adriatic return to play the Kaiju Festival at Brisbane's Mansfield Tavern on November 12, with CJ Nash catching up with the band to find out what they have been up to and what their plans are for the future.
