yes, Tim.....I know you're right....I have friends who had deliveries that lasted as long as 4 days (& nearly died) & some who delivered under twilight drugs......I didn't mean to be flip. In my case ( for the only induced delivery I had) the doctor was actually in a hurry....I didn'

Labor and delivery, 2 of our 7 docs are prone to "hurry". However a mother with pre-eclampsia, corio, or a child at 42wks all are justifiable reasons to induce for patient safety

sorry if I was being trite, Tim......I know that lots of deliveries have to be induced....I just don't think there's a difference between straight & gay deliveries
