Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck
=======================
I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning Taro, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. About Carrie and @QuickLearnQuests
===============================
I have been reading Tarot cards for 30 years for fun. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet.

Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons on learning and memorizing each card using symbolism. I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the Nine of Swords, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed.
The Nine of Swords upright often represents anxiety, sleepless nights, and feeling overwhelmed by worries and fears. It's a card that captures the weight of mental distress, where our thoughts can feel impossible to escape.
However, when the Nine of Swords appears reversed, there is a shift towards relief. It suggests letting go, facing fears, and finding peace after a period of turmoil. The reversed Nine of Swords is a turning point. You may be confronting your anxieties, gaining perspective on your worries, and releasing their hold over you.
So what does that mean when we see the Nine of Swords reversed in a reading? When the Nine of Swords reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign that you're ready to release the weight of past worries. This card suggests that you're entering a period of healing and self-compassion, where you can begin to let go of thoughts that have held you back. It may also indicate that you're learning to manage your mental health proactively. The reversed Nine of Swords encourages you to use tools and practices that help you maintain peace of mind, reminding you that your thoughts don't have to control you.
So, what is the best way to memorize the Nine of Swords in reverse?
Tying the card to a personal experience helps me remember it. For example, my reversed Nine of Swords moment came at the end of a friendship, which was a Nine of Swords moment. This friend was someone who I had a lot of fun with, but also had a lot of tension with. When the friendship was over, it took me some time before I was more in a nine of swords reversed. I appreciated the drama out of my life but would waffle on our good times and the support we provided each other. Things are never entirely black and white. With time, I was at peace with it, and I try to focus on the good times we had and leave the rest in the past.
That's all for today's episode on the Nine of Swords reversed. Remember, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. Thanks for listening.
