Rut 4: La honra de un hombre íntegro.

Rut 4:11-22:
Todos los del pueblo que estaban presentes en la puerta con los ancianos dijeron: —Somos testigos. El SEÑOR haga a la mujer que entra en tu casa, como a Raquel y a Lea, quienes juntas edificaron la casa de Israel. ¡Que te hagas poderoso en Efrata y tengas renombre en Belén! Con los descendientes que el SEÑOR te dé por medio de esta joven, sea tu casa como la casa de Fares, el cual Tamar dio a Judá.
Boaz tomó a Rut y ella fue su mujer. Él se unió a ella, y el SEÑOR le concedió que concibiera y diera a luz un hijo. Entonces las mujeres decían a Noemí: —¡Alabado sea el SEÑOR, que hizo que no te faltara hoy un pariente redentor! ¡Que su nombre sea celebrado en Israel! Él restaurará tu vida y sustentará tu vejez porque tu nuera, que te ama y te es mejor que siete hijos, lo ha dado a luz.
Noemí tomó al niño, lo puso en su seno y fue su ama. Y las vecinas le dieron nombre diciendo: —¡Un hijo le ha nacido a Noemí! Y le pusieron por nombre Obed. Él fue el padre de Isaí, padre de David.
Esta es la historia de los descendientes de Fares: Fares engendró a Hesrón. Hesrón engendró a Aram. Aram engendró a Aminadab. Aminadab engendró a Najsón. Najsón engendró a Salmón. Salmón engendró a Boaz. Boaz engendró a Obed. Obed engendró a Isaí, e Isaí engendró a David.

Este es el último capítulo de esta fascinante historia de redención y amor.
Noemí y Rut ahora estaban en manos de Booz, el pariente redentor, pero antes de él ya había otro que mostró interés en poseer las tierras de los difuntos pero se desanimó al ver que debía restaurar el nombre del difunto casándose con la viuda.
Este obstáculo fue quitado del camino para que Booz tomara posesión de la herencia y adquiriera la responsabilidad de edificar una familia en nombre del difunto. Esto no le importó a Booz porque vio en Rut una mujer ejemplar, valorando sus actos de amor y abnegación. Esto también es digno de admirar, la perspectiva con que él miró a Rut como un regalo de Dios, como una oportunidad de ser bendecido, a diferencia del otro pariente.

Estas dos formas de perspectiva ante un problema que debía resolverse es lo que cada uno de nosotros debemos hacer si tenemos algún conflicto en el hogar.
Cuando un problema escala y toca el borde de la separación es porque cada uno está mirando a su pareja con ojos de desprecio, con desdén, pensando siempre lo peor, mirando solo los defectos y murmurando lo horrible que es vivir con esa persona.
En cambio, si miramos desde los ojos de Booz veremos la oportunidad que Dios nos ha dado para bendecirnos con la pareja y los hijos que Dios nos ha dado. Aunque encontremos en el camino tropiezos para poder llegar al propósito que Dios tiene para nuestras vidas, luchemos y avancemos hacia la meta, resolviendo cada problema, un día a la vez.

Cuando confrontamos los obstáculos y hacemos lo que es correcto, el resultado de nuestras acciones serán recompensas incomprensibles.
Booz restauró el nombre de Noemí y Rut, tuvieron un hijo que fue el abuelo de un joven que sería llamado "un hombre conforme al corazón de Dios", su nombre sería David, el futuro rey de Israel.
Los efectos de un comportamiento ejemplar, de actos de valentía, misericordia y honor convirtieron a un hombre respetado como Booz en un hombre con una dinastía inolvidable, siendo el ascendiente del rey David y del Salvador del mundo, Jesucristo.

Si tenemos la mente de alguien que desea hacer lo correcto, y comienza a mirar el potencial que hay en cada uno de los miembros del hogar, podremos entenderlos mejor y ayudarlos a alcanzar sus propósitos de vida y la misión que Dios tiene para cada uno de ellos.

Ruth 4: The honor of a man of integrity.

Ruth 4:11-22:
And all the people who were at the gate, and the elders, said, “We are witnesses. The Lord make the woman who is coming to your house like Rachel and Leah, the two who built the house of Israel; and may you prosper in Ephrathah and be famous in Bethlehem. May your house be like the house of Perez, whom Tamar bore to Judah, because of the offspring which the Lord will give you from this young woman.”
So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son. Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a close relative; and may his name be famous in Israel! And may he be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age; for your daughter-in-law, who loves you, who is better to you than seven sons, has borne him.” Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her bosom, and became a nurse to him. Also the neighbor women gave him a name, saying, “There is a son born to Naomi.” And they called his name Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David.
Now this is the genealogy of Perez: Perez begot Hezron; Hezron begot Ram, and Ram begot Amminadab; Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon; Salmon begot Boaz, and Boaz begot Obed; Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot David.

This is the last chapter of this fascinating story of redemption and love.
Naomi and Ruth were now in the hands of Boaz, the relative redeemer, but before him there was already another who showed interest in possessing the lands of the deceased but was discouraged when he saw that he had to restore the name of the deceased by marrying the widow.
This obstacle was removed from the way for Boaz to take possession of the inheritance and assume the responsibility of building a family in the name of the deceased. This did not matter to Boaz because he saw in Ruth an exemplary woman, valuing her acts of love and self-sacrifice. This is also worthy of admiration, the perspective with which he looked at Ruth as a gift from God, as an opportunity to be blessed, unlike the other relative.

These two forms of perspective when faced with a problem that needs to be resolved is what each of us should do if we have a conflict at home.
When a problem escalates and touches the edge of separation it is because each one is looking at their partner with eyes of contempt, with disdain, always thinking the worst, looking only at the defects and murmuring about how horrible it is to live with that person.
Instead, if we look from the eyes of Boaz we will see the opportunity that God has given us to bless ourselves with the couple and the children that God has given us. Although we find obstacles along the way to reach the purpose that God has for our lives, let us fight and move towards the goal, solving each problem, one day at a time.

When we confront obstacles and do what is right, the result of our actions will be incomprehensible rewards.
Boaz restored the name of Naomi and Ruth, they had a son who was the grandfather of a young man who would be called "a man after God's own heart", his name would be David, the future king of Israel.
The effects of exemplary behavior, acts of bravery, mercy and honor turned a respected man like Boaz into a man with an unforgettable dynasty, being the ancestor of king David and the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

If we have the mind of someone who wants to do the right thing, and start looking at the potential that exists in each of the members of the household, we will be able to understand them better and help them achieve their life purposes and the mission that God has for each one of them.
