Ephesians 4: But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. HE Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry.
Christians want to be in GOD'S will. GOD'S Word says:
3 John 2: Beloved, I desire above all things that you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.
GOD'S Plan: Jesus said: the Father has sent Me, I also send you.
You are commissioned.
Mark 1: Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of GOD is at hand: repent and believe the gospel, (the good news) .
GOD'S Purpose:
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
Total restoration.
GOD'S Preparation: Matthew 4:18 Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishers. HE said to them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. They left their nets, and followed HIM. Going on from there, HE saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and HE called them. Immediately they left the ship and their father, and followed HIM.
