The realignment dust appears to have settied…FOR NOW! Cal, Stanford and SMU to ACC. Aside from the part shares or no shares in SMU’s case, it doesn’t look that inviting for the schools, but this is what college sports are now.
The Mountain West announced it talked to Oregon State and Washington State, which may be its only option. The AAC, which was rumored to be looking at the remaining two Pac-12 schools, said they won’t expand westward, but instead, look to add Army as a football only member, like their archrival Navy currently is.
Then Joe discusses Travis Kelce’s plea for Chris Jones to end his holdout. He used his podcast with his brother Jason to tell him that he doesn’t know what’s going on, but just return.

Finally, Speedy Morris’ family did not like how my alma mater, St. Joe’s Prep is honoring the Philly coaching legend after a renovation of the 17th & Girard gym. Joe thinks it’s a “follow in the footsteps” symbolism, and if they were upset at the “placard” as Mike Sielski calls it in a Daily News/Inquirer article, then they should have been upset with the 2020 decal that was there. Apparently they don’t want a “follow in my footsteps” honor that the Prep intends to have.
