I do well under stress until I hit a breaking point and when I hit that, I start fragmenting and self-medicate with food...
Psalm 78 talks about how often the Israelites rebelled against God in the desert. I don't want to be that person. I wrote in my journal something to help me stay on track and focused on Him:
I'm obedient, even when it gets in seasons of hard... Help me to look to You and worship you even when in the desert...
