This month we welcome two integral malt farmers in the Inland Northwest Brewing Community: Matt Horlacher (HAUL • ocker) of Horlacher Farms in Latah, WA, and Nate & Chris Riggers of Clearwater Farms in Nezperce, ID. We talk with the farmers about the history of malt, and how the terroir of regional growers and maltsters adds to the creativity and complexity of the beers of the present day, and into the future!
