We wish that we could share all of our great conversations we have when we dont have teh equipment around and set up to go. Between The Senator and Capt E they converse on a daily basis with incredible people that are involved in everything rlating to fins, fur, and feathers. Capt E was able to run to the studio and hop on a call with one of the biggest names in professional bass fishing, JT Thompkins. Who is also a Palmetto State and Myrtle Beach native and friend of the podcast. JT is enjoying a break on Lake Champlain from competition as Tropical Storm Debbie makes her way through the New York area today. After day one, JT is currently sitting in 45th and is 10th for Angler Of The Year and 4th in Rookie Of The Year standings. He discusses his first day on the water and exactly how he felt coming into this event. We also discuss the setails in competitions in a small mouth fishery and some of the techniques he is using this week. We are always grateful to have JT on and wish him the best of luck as the tourney kicks back off tomorrow morning. You can follow all the action live at
The Bassmasters website. Also, you can check out the new rain gear that JT refers to as well as the baits and rods by clicking on the following links.
