It is hard to believe that we are just on the other side of JT Thompkins rookie year on the Elite Series and this weekend he will be starting his sophomore season on the biggest stage in bass fishing. In an attempt to get himself some time away from bass fishing he has fallen into the grasps of duck hunting. So much so that he reached out to go shoot some clays and work on his form before his first event in Palatska, Florida, We had a great time out at Backwoods Quail Club.
We had a lot of laughs and to be honest, this young man just gets it.......He is not gonna do anything without going all in and his attention to detail in his shooting speaks volume about his abaility on the water and to disect a fishery. We wish JT the best of luck this year and are sure to keep you informed of how his season progressess.
