Serial Thief Goes to JAIL After Stealing from Hoboken ShopRite
Around 8:59 AM on July 30, 2024, Sergeant Jason Falco and Officer Frank Lombardo with the Hoboken Police Department were dispatched to a report of a shoplifting at ShopRite on 900 Madison Street. They arrived on scene around 9:06 AM and walked upstairs to the loss prevention office. In the loss prevention office, they met with Felix and made contact with the alleged shoplifter, who was identified as Diana Silencieux.
Felix informed Sergeant Falco that she attempted to shoplift $326.62 worth of items and handed him a copy of the receipt. Felix also told the officers that she had repeatedly shoplifted from ShopRite on prior occasions and they captured her on their facial recognition system.
