Hugh Millen is in for Softy as he takes a couple of weeks off. Dick usually makes the effort to watch the Home Run Derby every year, but last night, he just couldn't find a reason. It says a lot about the overall interest in the game at this point. Justin Verlander will take the mound in tonight's All-Star game. Despite having a 2.9 ERA, he's given up the most home runs in his career, and he's blaming the baseballs. Looking at the numbers, it's hard to argue that there isn't something different about the balls, but could it simply be a change in the way they're being manufactured? We've seen issues before. Michael-Shawn Dugar is writing a series looking at the Seahawks players that need to step up in 2019. Hugh and Dick go through his list, and identify their own players.
