Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has tabled in Parliament the Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing Amendment Bill while reiterating the government's commitment to nip illicit money flows.
The National Treasury says the approval was a demonstration of the government's commitment to the fight against corruption, money laundering and terror financing.
He says the law will improve South Africa's adherence to international best practices in combating financial crimes and corruption.
