Ahoy there, surfers and beachgoers! Time to catch the wave with your Southwest Oregon Surf Zone Forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Medford. Let's dive into what the ocean has in store for us!

Today's surf height is a splash-worthy 8 feet with no thunderstorms in sight. Water temperature cruising around 55 to 56 degrees. Expect mostly cloudy skies with a hint of sunshine and a high temperature range of 55 to 63 degrees. The wind will be coming from the South at a leisurely 4 miles per hour, picking up to 6 miles per hour later on.

For our tides, in Charleston, we've got some big movements - high tides up to 7.2 feet and low tides down to -0.9 feet. In Port Orford, we're looking at high tides of 7.0 feet and low tides of -1.0 feet. So plan your beach day accordingly!

Moving on down the coast to Port Orford to Brookings, today's surf height is a cool 8 feet. No thunderstorms expected, just mostly cloudy weather and water temperatures around 47 degrees. High temperatures ranging from 51 to 69 degrees. The wind is coming from the leeward Northwest at 6 miles per hour, cranking up to 9 miles per hour.

Don't forget the tides in Port Orford - high tides of 7.0 feet and low tides of -1.0 feet. It's time to ride the tide!

Looking ahead to Wednesday, the surf height is standing tall at 8 feet. Still no thunderstorms expected, just partly cloudy skies. High temperatures ranging from 52 to 73 degrees. The wind shifting to a brisk Northwest at 16 miles per hour, gaining speed up to 25 miles per hour.

Tides in Port Orford are still making a splash with high tides of 6.5 feet and low tides of -0.6 feet. So get ready to hang ten!
