Daniel Sancho Bronchalo, the son of Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho, is facing sentencing for the murder and dismemberment of Edwin Arrieta Arteaga, a Colombian plastic surgeon he met online. The trial took place in Thailand, where the crime occurred, and while Sancho admits to killing Arrieta, he claims it was in self-defense. The prosecution argues that Sancho premeditated the murder and points to evidence of pre-planning, including purchases of knives, plastic bags, and cleaning supplies. Despite the possibility of the death penalty, Arrieta's family has requested life in prison for Sancho.
