In this sermon, Doug folds in a much bigger picture for Matthew 6 than what is typically taught. He focuses on who the Sermon on the Mount was truly being preached to and how the sermon was a warning for their future. We learn who the "bad eye" represents, and why we can't serve two masters. Doug also walks through much of the old testament when God was supernaturally sustaining His people, and talks about the parallel between anxiety and contentment. We learn that God is all we truly need and that He supplies our every need, but not our every want.
