Jesse Waite had lost everything. A life time of tragedy, war, and unfortunate circumstances had left him with one surviving brother who was out looking for fortune and gold in the wild Idaho Territories. To find his last surviving kin, Jesse made his way across the country with dreams of opening his own church and settling down for good. Yet, when he makes it to the Idaho lands, he finds out that his brother has been murdered in cold blood in the small town of Atlanta.
Seeklng to find the story of how his brother died, Jesse stumbles into a town in need of the Lord’s word. He decides to settle in, build his church, and witness to the ne’er-do-wells… But being a shepherd to a town full of wolves proves harder than he imagined with most town-folk being in the pocket of the gold baron, Earl Cumming. When Earl’s henchmen and drunken miners go too far in pressing the innocent lambs, Jesse comes to the realization that God had a different plan for him all along – one of swift and violent biblical retribution.
