Fr: Un matin frais débordait dans les rues de Paris.
En: One fresh morning spilled into the streets of Paris.

Fr: Maître Pierre, grand et maigre à moustaches, s'apprêtait à vivre une journée bien palpitante.
En: Master Pierre, tall and thin with moustaches, was preparing to have an exciting day.

Fr: Ses yeux brillants cherchaient une boulangerie.
En: His bright eyes were searching for a bakery.
