The Martin cast were very close to Thomas Ford who played as Tommy. To them, I know it wouldn't be the same without him. Naturally, if Martin were to return, they would probably do things a little bit different. But when a person leaves you that you are very close to, there is a part of them that stays with you. There is always something there to remind you.

Whenever Tommy's name is mentioned by Tisha Campbell or Tichina Arnold, I think of things he said to me through Twitter and emails. One day he put a message on Twitter saying, " Choice, not circumstances, determines your success."

And I said back to him, "I made my choice God because so many things go wrong. With him, everything else will fall in place."

And Thomas Ford said to me, "Amen."

Tommy once said, "We spend so much time wearing mask. We trick the world in how wonderful life is, but a lot of us are in a great deal of pain. Brothers and sisters should take the time to just say good morning. How are you doing? God bless you. Speak to someone. Speak positive to someone."

Tommy and I talked a good bit through the Internet. We had jokes about him not having a job, we talked about a Martin Reunion, and we talked about college.

I believe Thomas known as Tommy was a real and down to earth kind of guy. His words still live, and his soul is still alive because the soul never dies. Oh, Tommy got a job! There are things to do in heaven if he's with the WAY MAKER. And there will be no more nightshift, and you won't ever get tired. Eternal life! And in these last days, don't be surprised if you suddenly see Tommy with your spiritual eyes.
