good morning internet wow what a day it's actually Sunny for a change it's not pouring down um it was funny yesterday I couldn't actually record because of the rain it was so loud setting the windows in the studio so I had to postpone until the wee small hours well actually no it was it was Dusk and I got my single out a really good I'm going to give um a bit of a plug I think to to tunecore who do all my Distributing for all of my tracks and they are really fast but only if you don't make a mistake so if you have one little mistake in the title um for example you can't call something a generic name so quite often when I put the music therapy tapes up there's some issue somewhere you know because I've said music therapy in the title but sometimes they let me do it and other times they don't this is a problem with AI they're obviously sifting through things with AI but the good thing about AI doing you know these jobs is that when it's right it's really right and I uploaded last night about 11 o'clock or something and I woke up this morning and it's live on YouTube so and it's being distributed so I'm getting royalties as soon as anyone listens now that's really good look I don't get that many lessons on YouTube I haven't I haven't reached the Dizzy Heights of anybody giving a hoot about the music I create which is fine by me because the music I create I understand is weird I mean I really understand that I was exploring this time's more of a sort of spoken word feel but I I did adopt a sort of singing tune to the speaking you know I'm really experimental I like experimenting thing with things that's what I do all the time and I wanted to hear how that sounded like and how it felt to have that out in the open you never really understand your track until it's out there it's just an embryonic baby when it's in your studio once it's out you understand how it works on all your platforms you understand if people like it or not because they're not you're not getting likes although that's quite a narrow as a narrow test really you know uh it's all about the the platforms pushing what they want their people to hear and they want people to hear who whoever's paying the most in advertising and I don't do that so you know there's an inherent sort of difficulty in measuring your success by likes on social media it it's pretty Grim actually in terms of its correctness it's just wrong you know um but I do understand that I'm quite Niche and experimental music is very Niche and experimental Electronica is even more Niche you know so what did I do I did a poem a while ago and I was thinking about using my robot to do a wrap but it didn't really sound good enough it didn't sound good in any of the voices so I just kept my own but I'd done some may West um ringtones you can find those actually if you search the ringtone catalog you will find those I think you might have to be a member to access all of the ringtones without ads on my site but if you go there there is actually a search engine so it's quite useful isn't it so if you just put in for example maywest you will come up with some maywest quotes so she's quite cheesy obviously because it's May worse I mean I was just larking about to be honest so my American accent is really poor but I was thinking about cheesiness in the choir so I put some Choir in it because the cheese the cheese of the choir and Hip-Hop especially is is legendary is it not so I did my poem and what I really liked about the poem and my mum said to me today she said well I I just was you know listening to the words and I thought that's what I want you know as a Lyricist as a writer of stories a tellteller a poet you want people to listen to the words yeah you do want the music to have a vibe to it and a sensuality to it uh something a massage to that cerebral you know cortex but you don't necessarily want to disguise the words and that's where this battle sometimes ensues between the value of the words the lyric the song The Point the poignancy because the poignancies in the lyrics and then you know as a musician the poignancy of the music well look look you know you can't be too arrogant about it and I use music to create feelings and generally speaking I don't really want the listener to understand what's happening to them you know I mean obviously if you're doing a film and you want somebody to be afraid then that's a different thing you know you can do it in a quite an obvious way or or to get a fright a sudden jump but you know the these sort of massages I call them um these cerebral massages I am not so interested in the audience The Listener being aware of what's happening to them do you see this is subconscious I'm a hypnotherapist musician as well and you know you don't want when you're doing music therapy you don't sit there saying this is going to make you feel I'm bashing someone's header with it do you know what so yeah um I was quite I quite like that I'm not sure how if if the next one I do and there will be another one over the weekend because I'm I'm on a bit of a mission to do one a day um not stay there because I'm gonna have a rest today but I think you know this this will develop because I quite I'm quite enthralled with the style of it but it isn't perfected because spoken word of music is a very different method of course I've done some before I've done the Hiawatha poem and I've done if and um I've done I've done a few I've done quite a few actually but this is the first time it's me and my vocal obviously put through my robot plugins so it does sound a little bit weirdly robotic you know I want to be confused with AI so that that really works for me as well so yeah let's should we have a listen I'll sign off now and let you hear it and you can uh yeah you can get this on YouTube you don't have to buy it you can just listen to it and let me know what you think yeah cool have a great weekend guys
I was working all week like a [ __ ]
like a switch I had no purchase and hopscotch time to turn the action up a notch texted my crew let's party
big hair big shoes big news better act quick
