This episode of Greg Louganis is Alive contains discussion of Domestic Violence and Abuse as well as Suicidal Ideations and Mental Health struggles. If you or anyone you know is in need of assistance, please call 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or 800-799-7233 to reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

My guest today is author Steve W. Wilson. At 28 years old he was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, which resulted in a life of anxiety, ruminations, an inability to make decisions, anger and sleeplessness.
Since 1978 he has dealt with his condition through therapy, writing, structured daily patterns and medication.
For the past seven years Steven has also facilitated two mental health groups to support others struggling with Bipolar Disorder.
His book “Teetering on a Tightrope” explores his journey, celebrates his ability to enjoy life’s golden moments and assures others that they too can experience a full and productive life.
