ITVT is pleased to present another episode of “Televisionation,” our new video/audio podcast exploring the advanced/interactive-TV industry in the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Era.
This episode features Lindsay Stewart, Co-Founder and CEO of Stringr, a company that operates a video-news marketplace that connects media companies with a network of over 100,000 freelance videographers. Among other things, she explains how Stringr’s platform works; discusses how the company works with news organizations and videographers in the Covid-19 era; and updates us on recent news from the company, including a new $5.75 million investment from Thomson Reuters and other companies, a partnership with the Google News Initiative, and the launch of Embed Studios, a service that draws on the company’s network of videographers to provide content for brands.
(Note: If you would like to share your thoughts on how the Coronavirus/Covid-19 crisis will change the TV and advertising industries, and tell us what your company—or you yourself—are doing to prepare for this new reality, please contact us at tracyswedlow@gmail.com.)
