show moreThe text in this episode is an inscription from Akraiphia (Boeotia) from the beginning of the 3rd century BC. It commemorates Eugnotos, warrior who died during the Boeotian revolts against Demetrius Poliorcetes: he took his life after having been defeated on the battlefield.
