Uk: Світло вечірньої Львівської площі купав загальний шум дзвоника у золотому промені.
En: The light of the evening Lviv square was bathed in a general buzz in the golden glow.

Uk: Андрій, Катерина і їх друзі обговорювали рецепт варіння борщу на майбутньому весіллі.
En: Andriy, Katerina, and their friends were discussing the recipe for cooking borscht at the upcoming wedding.

Uk: "Нема борщу без буряка," - святково заявив Андрій.
En: "No borscht without beets," Andriy solemnly declared.

Uk: Катерина зняла окуляри й нахилила голову на бік.
En: Katerina took off her glasses and tilted her head to the side.

Uk: "Але що як варити без буряка?
En: "But what if we cook without beets?"

Uk: " - задала вона питання.
En: she asked.

Uk: Це створило паузу в обговоренні.
En: This created a pause in the discussion.

Uk: "Не може бути!
En: "It can't be!"

Uk: " - вигукнув Андрій.
En: Andriy exclaimed.

Uk: Серед друзів почався гамір.
En: Among the friends, a buzz began.

Uk: Всі обмінювалися думками і комахали головами.
En: Everyone exchanged thoughts and shook their heads.

Uk: Ніхто не запізнився висловити свою думку.
En: No one was late to express their opinion.

Uk: Затишки не було.

Uk: Дехто навіть пропонував зробити окремий борщ для прихильників буряка і ще один для тих, хто його не їсть.

Uk: "Все залежить від присутніх на святі," - сказав Михайло, друг Андрія, закінчуючи сперечання.

Uk: Вони вирішили перед святом провести голосування серед гостей.
En: They decided to conduct a vote among the guests before the holiday.

Uk: Але борщ все одно був усім на устах, і заговорили вони теж про інші страви для весільного бенкету.
En: But borscht was still on everyone's mind, and they also began discussing other dishes for the wedding banquet.

Uk: Затім вони спрямувалися до шоколадної ресторації, щоб заспокоїти свої захоплені борщем роти.
En: Then they headed to the chocolate restaurant to satisfy their borscht-excited mouths.

Uk: Проблема була вирішена, хоча ще одна велика битва була за горизонтом: якою кондитерською продукцією наповнити десертний стіл.
