The Bible records that God will not do a thing except He reveals it to His servants the Prophets. Amos 3:7. When God called Ezekiel to speak, Israel was living in rebellion against the Lord. But as loving as our God is, He still raised a prophet to warn them about the impending dangers of disobedience to His law, because He does not enjoy the death of a sinner.
