Today on The Sir Walter Jones Show we took you on a little journey, a two part series, a blast from the past and a hope for a better future. They call them "COGIC" and trust me, even if you have never been in their churches, you have sung their songs in your church houses. Martin Luther King gave his Mountain Top speech at Mason Temple before being shot dead and Emmitt Till's funeral service was held at Robert's Temple COGIC in Chicago. COGIC is an Empire, a Dynasty and a force to be reckoned with, but its not without controversy and scandal. Like all other Denominations they face accusations of Rape, Molestations, Abuse, Homosexuality, you name it and now as we enter another election year, there will possibly by a Split in 2016 as it was in the 1960's.
