Will there ever be the day when the first thing we do is not hit the latest news? I don't know what's worse, how the headlines affect me emotionally or how I react by subjecting myself to news deprivation? Being kept up to date is a human need. If you watch most people, they're playing a game of touch and go. Rarely does anyone jump into the full story. Too many opinions and people wanting to argue. But we need to start talking about the deeper story. Reading the headlines and first paragraph aren't the answer. We need to start talking about it without wanting to start battles with friends and neighbors. Families have been shattered due to not talking about the deeper story. We've got to change. It needs to be put out there and worked out.
