They also update yesterday's Taylor Swift story and reflect on 23 years since the horrific 9/11 terrorist attacks.

First, they break down Kamala's performance, particularly how she refused to answer challenging questions about the Biden-Harris record on the economy, the border, and her many sudden policy changes. They also note specific areas where she tried to sneak to the right of Trump and her clear strategy of baiting Trump away from discussing the issues most damaging to her.

Next, they explain how Trump kept falling for the rabbit trails offered by Harris, his failure to highlight some of the most devastating aspects of the Biden-Harris record, misstating other attempts to land punches, and how he looked generally unprepared for the event. They also highlight a few of his zingers against Harris and Biden, but even those turned out to be missed opportunities.

Then, they evaluate ABC News moderators David Muir and Lindsey Davis for their one-sided, questionable fact-checking and for offering some real softball questions to Harris.
