This is a tough topic to talk about. Please dial 988 if you are having suicidal thoughts, or are in crisis. For a long time, my backwards brain (ND if we're being technical) was comforted by the idea of suicide. I thought that made me really broken. What I've found, is that I'm not broken, and I'm not alone.
