military veteran, a retired aerospace security engineer. She has had a lifelong interest in UFOs. From 1998-2001 she hosted the “The X Factor” talk radio program in Washington, DC, covering UFOs and many other paranormal topics. From 2013 through June 2018, she wrote the wildly popular weekly newspaper blog NEW YORK SKIES for the SyracuseNewTimes.com. In 2017, Cheryl and her spouse Linda Miller Costa published the UFO SIGHTINGS DESK REFERENCE: United States of America 2001-2015. It is the first-ever published statistical analysis of UFO sighting all over the United States. In May 2021, they published the UFO SIGHTINGS DESK REFERENCE: United States of America 2001-2021. This edition, has even more analysis of UFO sighting patterns than the 2017 book. Cheryl was the 2018 RESEARCH OF THE YEAR award.
