De: In Berlin, der Stadt der Geschichte und Kultur, lebten drei gute Freunde - Franziska, Maximilian und Lea.
En: In Berlin, the city of history and culture, lived three good friends - Franziska, Maximilian, and Lea.

De: Ihr Lieblingstreffpunkt war ein altes, traditionelles deutsches Café in der Nähe des Alexanderplatzes.
En: Their favorite meeting spot was an old, traditional German café near Alexanderplatz.

De: Das Café war bekannt für seinen köstlichen Kaffee und Kuchen.
En: The café was known for its delicious coffee and cakes.

De: Es war ein sonniger Nachmittag und sie hatten sich wieder einmal zu ihrem Kaffee- und Kuchentreffen entschieden.
En: It was a sunny afternoon, and they had once again decided to meet for their coffee and cake gathering.

De: Sie war stiller als sonst.
En: She was quieter than usual.

De: Weder die leckeren Kuchen noch die heitere Atmosphäre konnten sie aufmuntern.
En: Neither the delicious cakes nor the cheerful atmosphere could cheer her up.

De: Ihre Freunde bemerkten ihre Sorge und fragten, was los sei.
En: Her friends noticed her concern and asked what was wrong.

De: "Ich ziehe weg", gestand Lea schließlich nach einer langen Pause.
En: "I'm moving away," Lea finally confessed after a long pause.

De: "Ich habe ein tolles Jobangebot bekommen, aber es ist in München.

De: Und ich muss dorthin ziehen.

En: It was news none of them had expected.

De: Es brachte eine Welle der Traurigkeit über ihre fröhliche kleine Runde.

En: Munich was far away.
