Fr: Sur les rues pavées, où les ardeurs du soleil étaient atténuées par les hautes tours de pierre de Paris, un homme nommé Pierre avait un problème.
En: On the cobblestone streets, where the sun's intensity was softened by the tall stone towers of Paris, a man named Pierre had a problem.

Fr: Il essayait de partager son amour pour le jeu de boules avec des touristes étrangers, mais la barrière de la langue rendait les choses difficiles.
En: He tried to share his love for the game of boules with foreign tourists, but the language barrier made things difficult.

Fr: Pierre était un habitant de Paris.
