1. Neil H. Buchanan, an economist and legal scholar at George Washington University, and a frequent contributor to Newsweek's opinion section.
His Twitter handle is @NeilHBuchanan.
The two discuss different aspects of the 2016 Presidential Election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, including previewing the third presidential debate tomorrow.
2. Sean Wilentz, one of the nation’s most prominent historians. His books and commentary on music, politics, and the arts have gained a wide reputation for their force, originality, and elegance. His Twitter handle is @seanwilentz.
The two discuss Donald Trump and whether we're witnessing the demise of the Republican party.
3. Nina Burleigh, National Politics Editor for Newsweek. Her Twitter handle is @NinaBurleigh.
The two discuss Nina's article entitled "President George W. Bush's White House "lost" 22 million emails," (many of these emails would've likely dealt with the lead-up to the Iraq war). Her and Nicholas compare this to the intense scrutiny that Hillary Clinton has received for her 33,000 missing emails, and whether this displays a double standard.
Nina also discusses a recent interview she conducted with Trump ally Roger Stone, who shared with Nina conspiracy theories about Julian Assange and Wikileaks.
4. Joe Conason, Editor-In-Chief of "The National Memo," Co-Editor of "The Investigative Fund" and an author. His newest book, "Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton," which was released on September 13th of this year, is currently available on Amazon.com. His Twitter handle is @JoeConason.
The two discuss why Julian Assange and Wikileaks seem to be a tool of Putin and the Russian government, and why the political weaponization of the Wikileaks emails is fair to compare to Watergate.
Nicholas Wapshott's newest book is titled "The Sphinx: Franklin Roosevelt, the Isolationists, and the Road to World War II." (Nicholas's book is available at www.wwnorton.com/books and Amazon.com). His Twitter handle is @NWapshott.
