Description
Matt Flood and Chris McIntosh are 2 of the 5 members of Caskets, a musical force of nature from Leeds in the UK. I had the opportunity to connect with...
show moreI had the opportunity to connect with these kind guys as they are starting the promotional rollout for their major label debut on Sharp Tone Records. The new record, Lost Souls, drops on August 13th and I admit I'm pretty excited about it.
The guys were super cool, put up with all my fanboy action, and gave you, the listener, great insight into who they are, their writing process, and what it feels like when the record business comes crashing around them, both the good parts and not so good parts.
If I wasn't clear before, yeah... I'm definitely digging these guys. They take the best parts of their influences, and filter it through modern technology along with impeccably prepared arrangements to create lush soundscapes pierced by amazing vocals of the highest caliber. This is Caskets, complete and fully formed, ready to take on the world.
I promise you'll enjoy listening to this interview as much as I did doing it. This is my conversational flow with Matt Flood and Chris McIntosh from Caskets, the post hardcore promise of the future, on the Rockstar Superhero Podcast.
