The one thing I've learned through daily writing is, "The older you get. The more you'll learn to simplify the treasures you've picked up along the way." There are certain ideas and things we've done that are easily tossed away. Some like to cling to our past like gum on the bottom of our shoe. Then there are those moments and ambitions that we put in a special box to one day in our older chapters laugh about.  Seriously... For one moment. Take a good look around you. People of age aren't laughing. It's as if they've been to the top of the mountain created by their decisions and believe, "Oh no... What did we do by saying yes when we meant to say no?" I'm really tired of people saying, "We only live once." That's pretty much telling God thanks but no thanks. Which brings me to a really weird corner of this map. While seeking the older people to study. Pay close attention to the grand children. Their noses are buried in digital devices. I totally get it! I was part of that generation that welcomed it. But I want to admit how wrong we were about history. Christopher Columbus wasn't trying to prove the world wasn't flat. He was headed across that open body of water to a world that would one day become flat. Why don't bosses have building relationships of success with employees? I'm not sure it's the bosses fault. It truly depends on how flat your world has become.
