EAU CLAIRE, WI -- On the evening of 12/09/2022, an officer was on patrol when he came across a truck partially pulled onto the street coming out of the parking lot of a local bar. The truck appeared to be parked in that position, and the single occupant looked like he was nodding off. Until he saw the police officer.
At that point, the driver decided it was best to reverse quickly, striking another vehicle.
After the world's shortest foot pursuit begins one of the most grating and hostile arrests for OWI. Joshua, the driver, repeatedly used profanities when angrily addressing law enforcement.
