What if we took away all things surrounding a tree’s root? What would we see? Maybe, are we humans wrong? A tree’s root system could be above the ground.
I sat looking at a tree.
It sat looking at me.
I asked gently,
“Are you upside down?”
“I don’t know,”
was his only reply.
Looking at my hands
then my feet,
maybe it was me…
Who sat up funny?
