In Minneapolis, inspired by Nguyen's success, Jillian Hiscock opened A Bar of Their Own, creating a vibrant venue for fans to come together and support women's sports. Meanwhile, in Seattle, Jen Barnes' Rough and Tumble became a hot spot during major events like the Women's World Cup and NCAA Women’s March Madness, sparking a city-wide wave of support for women’s sports bars. In this segment of the GSMC Hoops & Heels Women's Sports Podcast, we spotlight two exhilarating UFC Fight Night matchups: Ribas vs. Namajunas and Blanchfield vs. Fiorot. In the March 23rd bout, Rose Namajunas claimed a unanimous decision victory over Amanda Ribas.
