Who is playing with my terror?
You think with anguish about your relatives, to friends, keep the kit with the atropine that the civil defense distributed near the radio on, you are sealed in an isolated room with towels and scotch tape and wet rags, put on the gas mask but you do not know if it is It is true that the missiles are armed with gas, and you don't even know if what they order you to do will save your life.
You know that the weapons to kill you exist, you know they have been used, but what they matters is your terror, the weapons are in the hands of people who consider your life and life of your loved ones irrelevant. irrelevant, what matters is your terror, what counts is to break down your will to resist terror, and for your rulers it matters to conquer your hatred and your desire to kill and accept the risk of being killed. Sealed in the isolated room with the gas mask you listen to the radio and think about your relatives and your friends, and you just want it to be over, soon.

It is January 17, 1991, this is the appeal launched on Israeli radio. In the span of a month, 39 scud missiles launched from Saddam Hussein's Iraq fell on Israel. 17 fell in inhabited areas, two civilians died from the explosions and 11 were seriously injured, but 7 died from gas masks, 71 died from heart attack and respiratory problems, four from reaction to the injection of atropine. None of the missiles were armed with chemical warheads.

None of the missiles were armed with chemical warheads.
In the piece “Who is playing with my terror” I wanted to describe a world where nuclear, chemical and biological weapons exist, and can be used to terrify civilians. The recording of the Israeli radio announcement inspired me to imagine what would it be like to listen to someone telling you that the air that you breathe could kill you. And thinking about it, I just realize that we too were told just that because of the pandemic. And now for the war, every war.
